COVID-19 continues to make group gatherings problematic. So how can we work together in 2022? The MoonCatcher Project continues to provide menstrual management kits to schoolgirls around the world. While we are not ready to hold large MoonBees just yet, here are some ideas that could get your members involved, build community, and help to end period poverty at home and abroad:
Create a virtual fundraiser to support our work. This could be done via FaceBook or by selling t-shirts designed by you at Bonfire.com with MCP as your designated charity.
Hold a virtual presentation via Zoom: let us tell your members about our project and show you the impact!
Hold a virtual MoonBee or a ZoomBee! We can tailor this event to the skill level of participants. We bring materials ahead of time to distribute.
Conduct a collection of menstrual supplies – raise awareness of period poverty among your members and contribute to local food pantries and shelters. We can pick up the supplies and deliver them to agencies in need.
